Our Materials
Gold-Plated & Gold-vermeil Jewellery
Many of our Brazilian pieces are made using the gold-filled technique, which bonds a thick layer of 18k gold to a base metal, typically copper or brass, through a mechanical process. This method, sometimes referred to as "heavyweight gold plating," produces a durable and long-lasting finish that is much thicker than regular gold plating, making it more resilient to wear.
Gold-plated jewellery is considered a high-quality alternative to solid gold at a more accessible price. We proudly use 18k gold, which contains 75% pure gold—higher than many pieces available around the world, which often use 14k or 10k gold. This allows us to offer you beautiful jewellery with a rich, luxurious appearance, at a more affordable price point.
Gold Vermeil
For those seeking something even more premium, we offer pieces made with gold vermeil. Gold vermeil is a special type of gold-plated jewellery where sterling silver is used as the base metal, and the gold layer is at least 2.5 microns thick. It is considered one of the highest-quality forms of gold-plated jewellery and is a superb choice for those looking for both affordability and luxury.
Gold vermeil pieces are less likely to tarnish and are durable enough for everyday wear. Both our gold-plated and gold vermeil pieces are hypoallergenic, making them safe for those with sensitive skin.

Sterling Silver & Rhodium-Plated Jewellery
Rhodium
Rhodium, a precious metal known for its striking, mirror-like finish, is currently one of the most expensive metals in the world. Rhodium plating enhances the shine, durability, and scratch-resistance of silver jewellery, making it ideal for everyday wear. It also prevents tarnishing, ensuring your pieces stay looking as good as new for longer.
Sterling Silver
Our sterling silver jewellery is crafted from 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper or zinc. Each piece is stamped with "925" or "STER" to guarantee its authenticity. While sterling silver can tarnish over time when exposed to certain environmental factors, a simple polish will restore its gleaming beauty.
All our pieces come with jewelry polished cloth.
